Every company begins with an idea. Some ideas solve today's problems. Others are built for tomorrow.

Six years ago, republiqe was founded on a belief that fashion, technology and digital identity would eventually become inseparable. At a time when digital fashion was still finding its place, we chose to invest in a future that many people couldn't yet see.

That journey hasn't always been straightforward. Industries have evolved, technologies have changed and consumer behaviour has shifted faster than ever before. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our willingness to keep building.

As we celebrate six years of republiqe, we're taking a moment to reflect on six chapters that have shaped who we are today, and where we're heading next.

Chapter One | It Started With A Vision

When republiqe launched in 2020, digital fashion wasn't part of everyday conversations.
Our ambition wasn't simply to create digital garments. It was to explore how people would express themselves in virtual spaces and how brands could build meaningful experiences beyond the physical world.

We believed that digital ownership, virtual identity and immersive experiences would become an important part of the future. That belief became the foundation of everything we've built since.

Innovation rarely happens overnight. Sometimes, it begins long before the world is ready.

Chapter Two | Taking Digital Fashion To The World Stage

As digital fashion continued to evolve, so did our ambitions.

From London Fashion Week to Paris Fashion Week and international showcases, we had the opportunity to demonstrate that fashion isn't limited to physical fabrics or traditional runways.

Every collection, every virtual runway and every collaboration challenged expectations of what fashion could become.

These moments weren't simply milestones for republiqe, they were milestones for an industry beginning to embrace new possibilities.

They proved that creativity has no physical boundaries.

Chapter Three | Helping Shape The Conversation

Building products is one thing.

Helping shape an industry is another. 

Over the years, our Founder and CEO, James Gaubert, has shared republiqe's vision through keynote presentations and a TEDx Talk, contributing to conversations around digital fashion, gaming, virtual identity and the future of brand engagement.

Those opportunities weren't about predicting the future.

They were about encouraging businesses to think differently.

Even when digital fashion and gaming weren't widely understood as marketing channels, we continued to believe that immersive experiences would become one of the most powerful ways for brands to connect with future generations.

Sometimes the hardest part of innovation is believing in something before everyone else does.

Chapter Four | A Bold Evolution

One of the biggest moments in our journey wasn't where we started, it was deciding where to go next.

As the digital landscape evolved, so did we.

Our foundations in digital fashion, NFTs, AR and virtual experiences naturally expanded into gaming platforms like Roblox and Fortnite, where millions of people were already expressing themselves every day.

Rather than changing direction, we broadened our vision.

We realised that digital fashion wasn't the destination, it was part of something much bigger.

Gaming had become the next generation of brand engagement, and we wanted to help businesses become part of that future.

Chapter Five | Building hex

That vision led to hex.

What started as an ambitious idea has grown into a multi-brand destination where digital fashion, entertainment and immersive experiences come together.

With more than one million visits, branded stores, digital merchandise, virtual runways and the launch of the hex Sports Mall, we've continued to explore how brands can build meaningful relationships inside gaming.

But hex has never been just another Roblox experience.

It's a place where communities discover brands, where creativity meets technology, and where people express who they are through the digital items they choose to wear.
Every brand that has joined the journey has helped shape something bigger than any single activation could achieve.

Together, we're building the future of brand experiences.

Chapter Six | The Future Starts Now

While today is an opportunity to celebrate how far we've come, we're even more excited about what lies ahead.

Our ambition is to become the world's leading multi-brand destination on Roblox, bringing together fashion, sport, entertainment and consumer brands within one immersive experience where audiences can discover, engage and express themselves in new ways.

We believe gaming will continue to redefine how brands connect with their communities, not because it's the latest trend, but because it's where culture is evolving, identities are being formed and the next generation is already spending its time. Looking back over the past six years, one lesson stands out above all else: meaningful innovation requires patience. Many of the ideas that inspired republiqe in 2020 are only now becoming widely understood.

As we enter our seventh year, we remain committed to building the future of digital experiences, helping brands create deeper connections with the audiences of tomorrow.
